High pressure laminate (HPL) is a surface material received upon hot pressing of multiple layers of paper impregnated with phenol formaldehyde resin.
The characteristic colour or pattern of the laminate is rendered by the surface layer of décor paper / foil which are enhanced by different surface structures.
The overlay covered on the décor paper ensures the durability of the laminate.
